Antique Marbled End Paper Cuff Links

Cuff links for a lover of things precious and quirky and bookish. These cufflinks are made using antique Victorian-era book endpapers. In this case, a sheet of rich red, blue, cream and white 'peacock' marbling. 

The marbled paper was handmade at some point in the 1800s, using traditional techniques of the time. The paper I use is very limited, and I can only make a short run of each style. You won't find these cufflinks anywhere else.

Each pair has variations and will look slightly different to the ones in these photos.

The paper is set behind two glass cabochons. It is mounted in round silver plated bezel cuff link settings. 

I source this paper from damaged or unusable books, so be assured I haven't damaged a valuable book.

The cufflinks are 16mm in diameter. Each set is packed in a black, velvet lined cufflinks box.

The metal is hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin.
