Paper Map Garland
A three metre garland created using real vintage map paper. I cut the paper by hand to create three dimensional multi layered heart shapes. There are eight heart shapes, strung on natural linen twine, to make an unusual and pretty garland.
The garland has two loops at eaither end, and can be strung very easily in your room or venue.
The garland colours are a mix of pale blues, greens, yellows and earth tones, and for each garland I use a range of vintage atlases printed in the 20th Century, largely from the 1960s to 80s.
Customers have been very creative with their garlands, using them as focal points in a wedding ceremony, or as a sweet decoration in a baby nursery. They add a charming touch to a going-away or leaving party, or work just as a gift for a dedicated traveller.
I'm happy to create custom lengths or amounts, so please drop me a line with any questions!
Each garland has 8 hearts. The garland arrives flat packed, and takes one simple step to pop into shape. I include a sheet of intructions and also 8 paper fasteners.
