A garland created with real book pages! I never used precious or valuable books, only pulp editions. The garland is 3 metres in length, and has eight paper hearts strung on linen twine. Each heart is composed of strips of book pages, fixed together to form a three dimensional layered heart.

The book I'm using at the moment is a damaged copy of A Thousand Splendid Suns! 

The heart has a loop of twine for hanging, and is suspended from a three metre length. The colours of the paper range from soft cream to beige, depending on how old the book is.
