Treat the bookish person in your life to a timeless gift of literature with these simple yet unique book earrings, featuring Elizabeth and Mr Darcy from Jane Austen's Pride& Prejudice. 

They are a wonderful gift idea for book lovers, especially fans of Jane Austen.  I hand make these earrings using real fragments from pages books. The copy of Pride and Prejudice I use is a turn of the century (19thC) damaged edition, with elegant text on cream paper. Elizabeth is on one side and Mr Darcy on the other.  

Each set will be very slightly different due to the nature of using real books, but each set will centre Elizabeth and Darcy. The sections of page are sealed securely under a clear glass dome. 

The earrings are suitable for pierced ears, and they are nickel and lead free.

You can choose from from bronze or silver plated settings. 

The earring is 16mm or about 5/8 of an inch across. They have a 3cm or appx 1 inch drop. The backs close securely with a clasp.

The earrings come boxed in small craft box, wrapped in a book page envelope for an extra special touch.
