Looking for something unique? I handmake these glass earrings using paper taken from real books - they feature Emily Brontë’s most famous creations, Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff, from her classic of doomed love, Wuthering Heights.
They are simple yet striking, with elegant text on aged cream paper. A brilliant gift idea for book lovers and avid readers.
The copy I use is an Edwardian-era copy (non precious and unsaleable due to damage). I only books that are damaged or non valuable.
They have a short drop, so that the disc sits just below the earlobe. In length they are 4cm, with an 18mm glass face in a bronze plated bezel setting.
The earrings have a lever back and are suitable for pierced ears, and they are nickel and lead free.
You can choose from from bronze or silver plated settings.
The earrings come boxed in small craft box, wrapped in a book page envelope for an extra special touch.
